Upon further review, that bid was found to be unresponsive and rejected. The Board will ratify that action at the Spetember 26th meeting. Staff has already readvertised and will accept new bids until October 10th.

I’m glad to finally have a name for that annoying weed – “Creeping Charlie.” With a kid and some dogs I’m loathe to use herbicides in my back yard and it has been very difficult to deal with. I’ve had some success in the past using a spray-on broad leaf herbicide. It dries in a few hours so its not as bad as using some kind of pelletized herbicide. She may need to make a few applications, but once its under control hand weeding should take care of it.
